Beach girl
silhouetted
against the horizon.
Wild hair fluttering
flag of the evening breeze.
I sit
admiring
this distant beauty.
Heartfelt rhapsody
engulfed by remorseless night.
I see
small footprints
in the moist sand.
I know them as yours.
Would that I could take them home.
