Hi Inder, I am following your new blog. I read your post “Da’ Coopster”. I am so sorry about your dog. We also had a Doberman, her name was Tiffany, a beautiful, intelligent friend, who loved tearing about in the woods. We shared so many wonderful adventures together. She lived to be ten years of age, then developed what the vet suspected was cancer. He suggested having her put down. My wife and I bawled our eyes out walking the few blocks back to our home. ~ Dennis

Have you had anyone read your palm, look into your future, or read tea leaves? Do you believe in all this ? I believe that there are those gifted in doing this, but if you get the wrong person reading the wrong outcomes it can really mess with your head.

HI Gargi, I am very open minded. I have never had my palm, or my tea leaves read. Some people are very gifted in matters of the occult. As you say, it depends on who does the reading and how much one trusts them. ~ Dennis

Dennis, this is a little different than your others and I find it of interest. I like the “house with numbers where nobody’s home” line. It has multiple meanings, like the card face down. The one I like is do we really know who the person is living at that address, including the occupant’s self view? Very nice and contemplative. BTG

Hi, I agree these lines have many meanings, and it was my intention to leave it obscure. Every reader will find their own meaning.
I change every moment. It sometimes takes my self view a while to catch up. I think we are too complex to ever really know ourselves, however, we can know enough to follow the path of our choice and learn as we go. ~ Dennis

Agreed. I was watching Amy Adams on “Inside the Actors Studio” and she described the character she played in one movie as “someone who does not know who she is.” I found that profound and then saw your poem later that day, so the words struck a chord which you echo in your response. Well said.

Hi Mark, thanks for your kind words. The first four lines of this poem were found in one of my old journals. I think they were inspired by relaxing and viewing pine branches, in silhouette, as it was getting dark. The rest of the words just came to me. ~ Dennis

it has a heart
beat to start
or more like a hum
pulls you to what you need to see
not necessarily what you wish it to be
this was good I like it…
I do tarot cards…they each have their own
vibration and feel about them…

They whisper you know…they tell stories of the one who asks questions
what most don’t realize is ..they will tell them what they need to hear, not necessarily want to hear and it may not be for them but someone who is close to them…
I don’t think you can learn to read..pick up a deck…and if it feels good within your hands…they will whisper to you…ask them first how you can help relay the stories they want to share…
Winter seems to want to stay this year, we are in the 40’s again after this weekend of the 80F’s…
