i am breathing in and breathing out.
i am at one with the universe.
the universe is one with i am.
God spoke and said, “I am that I am.”1
I am the truth, I am eternal,
I am within you. I am here now.
the mind is fickle, often negative.
i am is the higher and changeless
aspect of an individual.
Ego is a product of the mind.
surrender the Ego and false mask.
yield to the breath of life, the i am.
i am is the Soul of a person.
empty the mind of trivial thought;
allow the Soul to be revealed.
the Soul of a plant or animal2
is an animate being’s driving force,
energy that remains after death.
death is a releasing of the Soul.
no longer is it tethered to earth,
bound to a material body.
i am breathing in and breathing out.
i am at one with the universe.
i am indestructible, immortal!

Hi Angie, I am humbled and honored by your praise. I enjoyed your poem “WHY? HOW? WHEN?”. I’ve been there. What I enjoyed even more was “Compassion”; something we see very little of these days. Your quote says it all:
“Compassionate living should be in every heartbeat. When did you last help someone? The next person who might need help could be YOU!”

I believe that when you are one with the universe you tend to find many answers in life. I also find that I am one with the universe, when I am in close kinship with nature. So beautifully written and leaves so much food for thought and discussion.
