.
.
i waited near the water
wondered if you’d wander through.
heard a rustle in the leaves
wasn’t sure if it was you.
calm descended on me,
your essence in my blood.
knew that you were with me —
my heart began to flood.
the lakeside view looked brighter
the birds, they noticed too.
the evening breeze felt warmer
basked in the glow of you.
please stay, until our dream begins
so that i can see your face.
take me back to all those times
of love when we embraced.
let’s get to know each other’s hearts
through the mystery of night.
let’s not think of when we’ll part
until the morning light.

You are more than welcome Dennis, I’m really enjoying your blog, you sound like you have a lovely kind soul. Your writing is so poignant, such a gift. Yes re Question Everything, a sad reflection of our era/age and the brutality of our governments and huge corporations. Much humanity seems to be lost. Keep smiling though x

Thanks so much, Samasti, I love your blog and will return often. It is fascinating the way you describe yourself, “I am a Seeker of That which cannot be put into words. I use words to chisel out the Primordial Silence I seek.” I follow a similar path. Your post “The Free Soul” was very illuminating. ~ Dennis

My pleasure and thank you Dennis, but the post was a reblogg. I wish I had written that AND had the skills for the paintings. They were both very good that’s why I did the reblogg. I’m very jealous that so many gifts went into the one person 🙂
